REFLECTIONS :
Experience -
I felt like this semester ended in a blink of an eye. The first class for this module felt like yesterday and suddenly I'm writing my final reflection. The task load felt quite heavy even at the beginning since we had to do task 1 and 2 together. We had to analyse a chosen brand for task 1, choose 28 brands to analyse for task 2(a) while also thinking about task 2(b). I'm not gonna lie, this semester was not all rainbows and sunshines. I've had my fair shares of ups and downs too (cried and stressed mainly). While nearing the end of the semester, it was like my body just knew and started to run out of ideas (burn out maybe?) However, I'm glad that I still got to complete everything in time and submitted them successfully. I'm also very greatful for Ms Lilian's words. She mentioned to me that whenever we feel like we've run out of ideas, we should take a step back and do something that makes us feel happy first before coming back to it. Simple words like that really helped me push through! I'm also very thankful for the constructive feedback that Ms Lilian always provide with us to try to improve ourselves.

Observations -
Through this 14 weeks, I observed that my designs are only appealing to a specific target audience and not everyone. Since I have my own prefered aesthetic, I tend to always lean more to it (unconciously) and always design based on my aesthetic. This is something I will have to work on which is my creative literacy. I can maybe do it by looking at more variety of designs. Ms Lilian had also mention that this is something I should work on. I also appreciate Ms Lilian's words of encourgement. Sometimes Ms Lilian would also share her own experiences which makes it more interesting to listen to.

Findings -
I have learnt branding before during my diploma but not so in depth so this module definetly helped further my understanding and knowledge in branding. It also started to make me aware of the brands around me and their brand story. I also started to pay attention to how logos are constructed. It was cool to see Ms Lilian's door full of (logo) stickers that she got from buying fruits!
