PROJECT 2 - KINETIC TYPOGRAPHY (GROUP)
♡ Choose a song, preferably upbeat and create a kinetic typography video for it. Work as a group to complete this task.
PROGRESS ( WEEK 01 - 11/01/2023 ) :
♡ Before starting this task, everyone in our group had to recommend a few songs. We all wrote down our choices in a Google doc that Alicia created and had a meetint to discuss which song we will be picking. Our final song choice is That's My Girl by Fifth Harmony since this song had the most votes out of all the other songs recommended.

♡ After finalising our song, researchers started to brainstorm on the art direction that we will be using for our kinetic typography video. Besides, different parts of the song were distributed by our leader (Alicia) to everyone.

♡ I was assigned to share the prechorus parts with Joyee so we both decided to split them equally so each of us will be working on 4 lines. For the final prechorus the lyrics were a little different so we also decided to seperate them equally among ourselves too.

♡ Mr Martin didn't really ask our group to make any major changes except for the typography that konomi used for her part. So, after everyone was done finalising their parts after the feedback, Gladys was in charge of compiling the parts together into a full video.

Lecturer Feedback:
(for group kinetic typography task)
- everything looks fine, love the 3D rotating effect used
- a little difference with the fonts being used so we have to decide on which one to go with
- the font used in konomi's video is a little too rigid compared to the ones in Ellyn's & Joyee's
- based on the progress final outcome of the video is gonna look good
REFLECTIONS :
I think this task was by far my favourite! I love how we could play around and create different types of movements and effects for the texts. Working in a group also made this task alot easier because we could distribute the parts equally. I cannot imagine how long it would take to make a full 3min kinetic typography video and alone at that. I really enjoyed working on this group task.
